LOS ANGELES, Feb. 1, 2010 – His Holiness the 14^th Dalai Lama, will give his first large-scale public address in Los Angeles since September 2006 on Feb. 21 at the Gibson Amphitheatre. Grammy-winning singer Sheryl Crow will open the public address given by His Holiness, “Cultivating Compassion and the Needs of Vulnerable Children.”

Whole Child and His Holiness come together the weekend of February 20 as Whole Child launches a global initiative to raise awareness of the emotional needs of vulnerable children.

“I am delighted to be a part of this special weekend with Whole Child International and His Holiness the Dalai Lama,” said Crow. “There are millions of children globally who don’t get the care they need. As a mother, it’s an honor to be involved.”

CROW TO DONATE PROCEEDS FROM HER TWO FOX PERFORMING ARTS CENTER SHOWS THIS WEEKEND TO PARTNERS IN HEALTH AND WORLD VISION

(Santa Monica, California) – As previously announced Sheryl Crow will join Keith Urban and Kid Rock in Los Angeles this evening for a very special performance at “Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief” that will be broadcast on all major television networks beginning at 8pm EST tonight. Their performance will be available for purchase for $.99 through the Apple® iTunes® Store beginning Saturday, January 23, with all proceeds benefiting Haiti relief funds managed by “Hope for Haiti Now” charities.

SAN FRANCISCO, Ca. – The lineup for the 23^rd annual Bridge School Benefit concerts was unveiled today, bringing another star-studded lineup to Shoreline Amphitheatre including acoustic performances by Neil Young, No Doubt, Jimmy Buffett (performing Saturday only), Chris Martin of Coldplay, Adam Sandler (performing Sunday only), Sheryl Crow, Fleet Foxes, Monsters of Folk (featuring Conor Oberst, Yim Yames, M. Ward and Mike Mogis), Wolfmother and Gavin Rossdale.

These iconic annual concerts hosted by Neil and Pegi Young benefit The Bridge School, a program for the communicative and educational development of children with severe speech and physical impairments.

Tickets for the 23rd Annual Bridge School Benefit Conerts are on sale Sunday, September 20th at 10am at Livenation.com or charge by phone at (877) 598-6659.  Tickets may be purchased at the Shoreline Amphitheatre Box Office between 10am to 2pm on Sundays with no service charge. Advance tickets are $150.00 and $75.00 for reserved seating and $39.50 for general admission plus applicable service charges. Four packs of general admission tickets may be purchased for $99.00. There is a 2 ticket limit for reserved seats and 8 ticket total purchase limit for these shows.
