SHERYL CROW AND ROCK THE VOTE TEAM UP FOR VOTER REGISTRATION DRIVE

REGISTER YOUR FRIENDS TO VOTE AND RECEIVE A FREE DOWNLOAD OF SHERYL CROW’S CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED A&M RECORDS ALBUM ‘DETOURS’
Washington D.C. , August 21, 2008 – Sheryl Crow wants you and your friends to vote! Nine-time Grammy award winner and internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter Sheryl Crow has teamed up with Rock The Vote to get people registered to VOTE! The “Sheryl Crow Voter Registration Drive” kicks off today. Current members of the Rock The Vote mailing list will receive access to a free download of her politically-charged song “Gasoline”. to access the free download. Additionally, the first 50,000
individuals that get three friends to register to vote will get a

Shadows on the Path

My friend, Abdi Assadi, has just published a wonderful book called Shadows on the Path. It has helped me immensely at times when I have felt the chaos of the world pushing down on me.
As I go out and play each night, I feel the weight of so many people asking themselves the same questions I have been asking myself: Where do I factor in my life? Where do I factor in the world? and, how do I deal with the chaos in my life?
I am deeply grateful for Abdi's insights. He has personally helped me find my own strength at times in my life that were personally very challenging. He has constantly helped me to remember who I am and who I was born to be...a loving, compassionate, and above all, awake person who is not afraid to walk in the truth.
I hope you will find the same wisdom and strength I have found in this wonderful book.

The complete Fall '08 line will be available nationwide on AUGUST 15TH at Dillard's stores, as well as additional retailers.
Sheryl celebrates the official retail launch of Bootheel Trading Co.
with the first of several in-store appearances. She will be stopping by Las Vegas's Fashion Show Mall on Aug. 26 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Come join Sheryl in the celebration!
Further retail appearances to be announced shortly.

Hey Everybody!
We are having a great time on the road this summer. I had the chance to talk about my new clothing line (which I am super excited about) last week on The Today Show, but I also want to make sure that I keep our internet friendly fraternity in the loop too.
In short, Bootheel Trading Company is a line of clothing inspired by western and vintage clothing. I love denim and I love vintage pieces I like to wear but can be sold at very affordable prices.
The line will initially be offered at select Dillard's branches and some boutique stores across America beginning August 15th. I am really proud of the line and hope you guys will check it out!
