Congrats To 2016 Birthday Drive Winner Brian Gibson!

on March 3, 2016 - 11:31am

Here's 2016 Sheryl Crow Birthday Drive Grand Prize Winner Brian Gibson of Jacksonville, Florida with his Telecaster, personally autographed to him by Sheryl!

The final 2016 Birthday Drive total was $14,127.00 - thanks to all who gave Sheryl the birthday present of emergency foster care for children in the Kennett area, and to everyone who made donations in memory of Gregg Dempsey, our mentor for the Drive. Since 2001, Sheryl’s fans have donated $211,799.00 to the Delta Children’s Home to take care of children at a time when they need help the most.

Thanks again to everyone for their support

A Note Of Thanks From Sheryl

on February 12, 2016 - 5:00pm

February 12th, 2016.

For almost 20 years, I’ve looked out into the audience at my shows all over the country, and seen the familiar shape of Gregg Dempsey surrounded by friends wearing the classic Fan Forum T-shirts. Gregg has been such a large part of my career. He was unmistakably unique, a contradiction embodied, with his easy-going way and sweet demeanor encapsulated within his tall larger-than-life build. His generosity with his time appeared to be endless, selfless. He gave so much to all of us. It will not be the same without him.

I am always touched when my birthday rolls around and

A Fundraiser for Arya

on January 5, 2016 - 9:09pm

Beloved friends and fans,

This fundraiser is for my friend's 3 year old daughter Arya, who is fighting for her life.

Read about Anya's struggle here: https://www.crowdrise.com/fundraiserforarya

As little as $1 to $5 will make an enormous difference.

Of course, if you are inspired to donate more that will be welcomed with open arms. All donations are 100% tax deductible.

I would also greatly appreciate you sharing this very important and time sensitive cause with your network of friends.

All my love,

Sheryl

The 2016 Sheryl Crow Birthday Drive is Here!

on January 4, 2016 - 11:11am

Hello everyone - sorry for the long post, but we’d appreciate it if you’d read and share it. The Sheryl Crow Birthday Drive is here again! This year, it’s also a tribute to a dear friend. And we need your help to make it the biggest year ever in his honor.

As many of you know, Gregg Dempsey passed away on New Year’s Eve. Gregg was instrumental in setting up the Sheryl Crow Fan Forum, was a moderator, and helped the members inaugurate the Birthday Drive. Through this process, he became connected to Sheryl’s hometown of Kennett, and to many of the people there.

In Memoriam: Gregg Dempsey

on January 1, 2016 - 3:34pm

It is with a tremendously heavy heart I have to tell you all that our beloved friend Gregg Dempsey has passed away. He has been a friend to me and my family and to all my fans since the early days of my career. He ran the Sheryl Crow Fan Forum and was an integral part of galvanizing my fan base. Gregg worked hard to support the Delta Children's Home and helped raise over $200,000 for the kids since the annual Sheryl Crow Birthday Drive began in 2001. He was there for so many important events along the way. He was also a dear friend to The Usual Suspects.
